What is Qi Gong?
Qi means energy in Chinese. The term is broad, full of different meaning and in practice embraces all of life. For discussion, here on Qi Gong, let's use the term as our physical and emotional life animating factor (Life Energy). 'Gong' means the art of doing something. In Qi Gong there are countless number of ways to manipulate and strengthen the Life Energy; be that a physical exercise, breathing, acupuncture points and meditation. All are designed to improve the energy flow which prevents illness and protects our wellbeing, improves strength, flexibility, coordination, posture, focus, memory, emotional balance and self-confidence.
Taught by Andrzej Leszczynski, from Healing Touch Healing Movement, this workshop will explain and demonstrate the various styles and classes which can be offered in the future at Integrated Fitness, such as, Qi Gong for Back, Hips and Knees, Release and Move on from Stress, Anger and Frustration, Qi Gong Yoga starter class, Yin Qi Gong, Double Sword Class and Classic Qi Gong created for Shaolin monks. He will explain the basic rules of energetic health and answer any questions that will help you determine which class is most suitable to your needs.
